The Cambridge Advanced Levels or A Levels is a pre-university programme conducted by the prestigious Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), United Kingdom. The Cambridge A Levels programme is the gateway to the most prestigious universities worldwide.
A Levels is highly specialised and a student will normally take three subjects that meet the requirements for the course of study in the university. Occasionally exceptional students take four or five subjects. The subject content of the A Level syllabus have been subdivided into two parts: the AS syllabus content which is expected to be covered in the first half of the course, and part two of the syllabus commonly referred to as A2.
